I am in love with PW mashed potatoes

I cannot begin to describe the bliss that I am still in.  I may make them again tonight.  Never in my life would I think to use cream cheese and heavy whipping cream (not to mention a whole stick of butter) when making mashed potatoes.  I really didn't think I'd find it all that tasty.

I ate so slowly so I could savor every moment.

I'm making them tonight as well. ?I've always done mashed potatoes, but these are so easy! ?I would put my potatoes through a ricer to try to make them creamy. ?Never thought to mash them over a little heat to let all the steam escape. ?SO yummy.

I don't care about lumps.  In fact, I actually like them so I didn't mash mine too much.  Totally creamy potatoes make me think of instant potatoes and it almost could make me gag if I thought about it hard enough.  I just use the pampered chef mix n chop.  That's the one for mashing hamburger when you brown it and I thought of getting the mix n mash for potatoes but the mx n chop works just fine for me.

peel and cut the taties, boil, drain, mash by hand, throw in a stick of butter, mash together, throw in some cream cheese, mash together, add some heavy whipping cream, mash it all together and I promise you that you will eat them like you're never gonna focking eat again!!!!!!!

Yummy yes....loaded with calories, big fat yes.  I just figured this all out talking to a girlfriend about it.  I probably am not going to make this a habit making them like this.  I also think I am going to run an extra mile or two today as well.

That's how I always make mine too.  And they are actually super easy.  I am trying to fatten DD up so I make these for her pretty often...
