s/o: PSA on Social Security numbers

My dad told me that the social security numbers for babies born in the last quarter of a calendar year sometimes are not recorded yet in the IRS tax system. (There's a lag time between the SSA and the IRS.) So if you file electronically, the number could be rejected.

DD was born in September, so we're hoping she'll be in by then.

    Interesting.  DD was born in Nov. 2007.  We filed electronically last year and didn't have any problems.

    DS was also born in Nov (2006) and we didn't have any problems electronically filing, either.
