Craving a cough drop!

Okay this may sound completely ridiculous but is it okay to use cough drops? My throat is really hurting and I think I'm getting a cold. Normally I wouldn't thought twice about having one but at my consult with the the nurse I found out I had to stop using my regular face wash, eye cream, and cut back on Splenda. I think that just made me feel paranoid.

Throat lozenges are on my ok list. I was using the Halls Fruit Soothers, and they tasted good and helped my cough/itchy throat. I hope you feel better soon!

I was sick a couple of weeks ago and I asked my doctor and she said cough drops are ok I like the vitiamin c ones that halls make  and fruit breeze. She even said that throat spray was ok and vick vapor rub. I know I had a ton of questions before too with the list of what you can't use growwing bigger its had to know what is consideres safe and what is not safe to use anymore. I would call your doc though and the nurse could call you back with a list of things that are fine to use just in case you are taking any meds that might interfere.
