We had her 9 month appt today and she did great. She's still a big baby- 22 lbs (70%) and 30 inches (over 95%!!). We have no idea where she gets her height from. The doctor said she's doing great and so alert.
He said to start giving her 3 meals and 2 snacks now and wean her off another bottle. Right now I've only been doing 3 meals. I'm not sure what to give her for snacks besides puffs. Any suggestions? TIA.
Re: Rena's 9 month stats and a question
Yea, Rena!
I'm trying to remember what I started as snacks then...you might try cubed cheese (cut into eighths) and diced apples. DD wasn't big on puffs, but she did like Baby Mum-Mums.
go, rena!!
as far as snacks, i would give T cubed cheese, avocado, cooked carrots and apples, sweet potato cubes, teething biscuits, watermelon or other melon, grapes... i never thought "it has to be a snack specific food" so i would sometimes feed him whatever was handy- left over pasta, potato, rice, veggies, whatever...
string cheese, boiled carrots, green beans, bananas, yogurt, graham crackers.... like V, i give her whatever is around. wasn't always exactly a "snack"
