Seriously - by the time I run out to start the car, go back in and get both girls bundled up - hats, gloves, boots, scarves, fight with the car seat straps over the bulky clothing, scrape off any windshield ice... its probably 20 minutes.
I'm envious of your warmer weather moms.
Re: I think winter adds about 20 minutes to my day
I'm in a warm weather state, but we've even been getting the cold weather here. I had to wait for my car windows to deice this morning (it was in the 20s) and put a hat and mittens w/jacket on Carter. Although a lot of the people that live here and are used to the warm weather start pulling out the coats, hats, mittens, scarves once it's below 65. That's still pants/t-shirt weather to us, but there are a lot that do have the winter gear on.
*Oh and I'm glad I don't have to do the boots and snow outfits. I worked in daycare (when I lived in WI) with little ones (toddlers) for about 5 years where I had to get 8 (or more) of them dressed and undressed before/after going outside 2x a day. Then I was a nanny, but then only had 2 kids to get dressed/undressed.
