Hey. I saw you question... I was standing in the grass right around 3rd and Independence. We saw a pic in the Washington Post of an overhead crowd shot and were like "there I am!" Just a tiny dot in a sea of people. We still had a really great view and my friend took some video with my camera and was able to get some of his speech.

    that's so cool :)  What an amazing thing to be part of - you and 2 million of your closest friends, right?

    Did you sing to the helicopter?  We could hear it on the TV and started singing along, while DD danced.

    She also kept asking if the bad man had left and waved "Bye Bye Bad Man"

    My nearest and dearest. Seriously, people would just start talking to each other. I had some great conversations with people from all over the country and some from outside (Barbados, Canada, Kenya).

    I did sing and I got pics of it flying off. It was so cool when it rose up into the sky. I started singing before I realized it and then noticed the crowd was doing the same. People were waving and screaming "see ya!" I wish I had though to get it on video.

    That is sooooo cute. I love her.

    It would have been so great to have met you.

    I bet - I had some good conversations at the rally the night before election day.

    I also wish we could have met - maybe one of these days?
