Wow....AMAZING news about my great aunt

She's been in ailing health for a few weeks now, and was taken to the hospital late last week for a blood infection. The situation was very grave, and doctors told us to be prepared to say goodbye, etc.

Fast forward to last night, I get a call from my mom and expect the worst only to hear she's made a COMPLETE TURNAROUND. She's been released from the hospital and is recovering at a local nursing home. The infection is gone, she's eating again, lucid, etc.

This woman is 94 years old and the doctors are absolutely flabbergasted. She told them she's survived "much worse" and wasn't ready to go yet. I'm just so elated.

That is awesome!  I had my great aunt, my great uncle, and my great grandmother all live to be 99-100.  My great grandmother gave us several scares.  She bounced back each time.  When she passed, she went quietly in her sleep.

Great news.  Usually most people that age "know" when it is 'their time" so she'll be around a while longer.
