how many burp clothes do I need?

I got the prefold cloth diapers but just don't know if I need more.

We got two packs of the cloth diapers.  In the beginning, they spit up when we weren't burping them, so we just had to change our own clothes a lot more often!

You're going to go through tons of them - the more you have, the less frequently you'll have to do laundry.

our reflux was so bad and DDs spit up so often that we used larger towels to drape over us when we fed/burped the.m.  Now i just use their bib over my shoulder. 

get at least 10-15 to start with so that you don't have to worry about laundry in the beginning.

Yes.  A billion would be about the right number.  Our babies have reflux so we go through at least 4 at every feeding.  They spit up A LOT.

I think we went back to the store 3x to get more.  We just never thought we'd need that many.  They don't spit up much any more but I use them for spills - the boys sometimes think their 1/2 drank bottles are toys and fling milk everywhere - snot rags and to dry their hair after a bath (they're really good for that).
