teething and constant pooping?

DD is teething, a new one popped through a few days ago and well, she's been a poop machine.  It's disgusting, she's blown through two pairs of pants today alone.  It's almost like she's just pooing water.  Seriously it has to stop.  Any at-home remedies to try before calling the pediatrician?

DD gets diarrhea when teething, too, but it's never been as bad as you described.  I'd make sure she stays hydrated and give the doctor a call.

the brat diet is what they always suggested for Addie when she  the same problem (and some say it's the extra drool with teething that causes the extra poop).

anyway, BRAT is Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Toast (or Tapioca).  just keep her hydrated.

I just hung up the phone with another Mom friend and this was one of the topics of discussion (my how things have changed ). Anyway, yogurt might be helpful also.

we are in the same boat..  Now he has diaper rash..  Fun times..  We are trying to avoid acidic foods like tomato and citrus also...

We're in the same boat too. We've had at least one big blowout the past three days. Of course we were out each time it happened. Not fun. I also find that giving her yogurt helps sometimes.
