is there a pear preference for babies?

i don't eat pears (don't like the flavor).  i bought pears for DS to eat out of one of those meshy things.  what kind of pear is best, or does it matter?  Bosc? Anju?

I've used both bosc and anjou for DD (I think those are the names) and both seem just fine!

We buy Bosc & Bartlett.  I think as long as they're ripe & easy to chew, it doesn't really matter.
