picking a dr. at evergreen

I'm going to the Center for Women's Health at Evergreen and they have 2 doctors that are taking new patients-Dr. Johnston or Dr. Eagan-any experience or recommendations between these 2?

  • Stay away from Dr. Eagan.  I didn't like her at ALL!  At the end of my pregnancy, she was making decisions on my care without even consulting me at all.  You can read about my experience with her in my blog.  (Link in siggy.)  I don't know anything about the other doctor.

I saw the midwives there and had a GREAT experience with them.  I didn't think I was the midwife type, but I'm glad I went with them.

  • Have you thought about going with a midwife?  There is a fantastic group at the center for womens health.  Michele Jackson is my favorite.  I love the center for womens health.  They are always prompt getting you in to your room and the midwives did an awesome job with my 1st pregnancy.  We will definitely use them again!
