Thoughts?

I know that I'm WAY ahead of myself, but since DD's first birthday party was kind of thrown together in a slap-dash way, I've already started thinking about her 2nd birthday party.

My idea is to have an apple-picking party, followed by a picnic, since her birthday is in mid-October and that's the perfect time to do those things -- it (hopefully) won't be too cold and it won't be too hot. DH likes the idea, but he hates the idea for the theme I want: "Celebrating the Apple of our Eye."

So what do you ladies think? Is it too corny? TIA

#1 - I have been thinking about Paige's 2nd birthday since her first one ended...lol

#2 - Your theme is NMS but if you like it go for it!

How about - "You have been picked to come to (Child's Name) 2nd Birthday Party"

Really cute idea and sounds like fun. The theme is a little corny. I like jessicada's idea.

Ok - let me take that back - I like your theme - just not the part on the invites!  Sorry - wanted to clarify.

The theme would be "celebrating the apple of our eye." I was thinking about something along the lines of "You've been picked..." for the invites, since we're going apple-picking and all. lol In fact, nothing would probably say "celebrating the apple of our eye" except her scrapbook. : )
