Beware: Graphic Lochia Question

I'm 10 days post-partum.  Is it normal to have maroon red colored discharge?  It kind of comes and goes and it's pretty light.  I also have occasional booger sized clots.

I bled for weeks after I had Graysen and then I started my period again right at 6 weeks.  I really had no idea that that would happen.  Why doesn't anyone ever talk about it.  Congratulations on Connor.

It is normal! I bled for 9 weeks, which is a little long, but it was on and off. I was told that anything golf-ball sized or longer warrants a call to the dr. Also, your body will tell you if you are doing too much, it will get more if you are doing too much, etc. HTH!

I bleed for a full 6 weeks. Some days were lighter than others, but it totally stopped 2 days before my 6 week check. I asked my OB and she said its totally normal.

Completely normal.  I had that for about 3 weeks and then just very light off and on discharge for another week after that.
