IUI QUESTION??

My sister has been dealing with infertility for about for about 2 1/2 years.  She recently had an IUI and was supposed to test on wed.  She broke down and tested this morning day 12dpiui and got a BFN.  I was wondering if you got a BFP from an IUI what day did you find out?  I would love to share with her some encouraging stories or help her deal with the next option.. IVF.  TIA!!!

I got my BFP on day 12 but I am pretty sure there were some ladies who had late BFPs.  I also had a BFN at 11 days but then got my BFP the next day.  It sill could happen.

With both of my IUI pregnancies I got a BFP at 10dpiui, but that is very early. She could have a late implanter and therefore the hcg hormone hasnt had time to build up yet.

i got my bfp at 11dpo with DS and 12dpo with the twins- but if implantation happens at 10dpo (which it can) a bfp woudln't happen until later- which is why they say not to test until 14dpo.

My RE will do 3 cycles of clomid/IUI then 3 cycles of injectables/IUI then move to IVF.

I had an IUI and POAS on maybe CD 11 or 12 and got a BFN.  After 2.5 years of consistent BFNs, I figured that was it, it did not work.  I still had to go back to my RE for my follow up/beta testing, and was shocked when a week later he called to tell me I was PG.

I was too scared to test until 14dpo (the morning of my beta). You can definitely get a BFN before a BFP.
