i packed mine after i went into labor at 19 weeks. so i didn't have much of the baby stuff (breast pads, pump...) i had me stuff...

deoderant, shampoo, conditioner, brush, eye mask, sound machine (i found it hard to sleep in the hospital when i was in with PTL), pj's, bras, underwear, lotion, mini-air-freshner (the room i had been in was stinky sometimes), glasss, extra contacts, ?cell phone charger, pre-natal vitamins. ?i think that's it in a nutshell. ?HTH

I didn't pack mine until the night before my c-section.  Besides essential toiletries, I really didn't bring much.  I wore hosptial gowns my entire stay so as not to ruin my own clothes with blood.  For the ride home, I wore the same clothes that I wore when I walked into the hospital - I had them on for all of 3 hours.

My first baby came early at 32 weeks so for my second I packed it at like 26 weeks had everything ready in a bag for me on top of the carseat ready to go. He came at 39 weeks so it went way smoother than with baby#1. I packed shampoo conditioner, brush, lotion, clothes, nursing pads and a larger bra I bought earlier which was perfect because I left the hospital with bigger boobs than when I entered. This time around with twins I'll be packing at 26 weeks or so also.
