Everyone knows, and I kindof wish they didn't. When we were engaged everyone asked if we were trying for kids right away...and I just didn't know how to lie to them. Now my every move is criticized..."why ARE you drinking?" "why AREN'T you drinking?" "are you pregnant?" "how is everything...wink, wink". it's very annoying, and getting more and more awkward as the months go by.
Argh, me too!

So if you mentioned it to others but now you regret spilling the secret, what is a good comeback for if they keep asking???

only my bridesmaids from my wedding know and his best friend.. thats all that needs to know. His family would be thrilled but my parents would tell me i'm crazy and need to wait a while. we just got married and we have always talked about having kids right away i mean we have practically been married for the past 5 years so why not start trying to have kids right away. my parents think we are too young.. only 19 but we both want to have kids now and to tell the truth I don't know how long it is going to take to concieve because I have pcos so I figured the sooner the better that way if it happens it happens but if it doesn't happen for a few years i don't want to wait til i'm 25 to start and then it doesn't happen til i'm thirty, i would rather start trying now and if it doesn't happen for a few years no big deal.. i'll still be young when i have my first child. so i'm not telling any family until I am pregnant.

Just our close friends know we are TTC. I have a feeling if we were to tell our parents they would question our timing. (Due to the economy) I also think they would tell me to finish school first. (have 2 years left) We just feel like there is never a perfect time to have a baby and with our first child turning 4 in a month right now seems like the perfect time. If we wait for the economy to turn around or for me to finish school our children will be too far apart in age.

Two of my close friends know that we have been thinking about it possibly this summer however nobody but the two of us know that we have begun TTC...I just didn't want to have to deal with all of the questions if it takes longer than expected. ?
