Do you feel it when you ovulate?

So i have been posting about our time ttc off of clomid this month and every cycle on clomid, i could really feel when i ovulated-day 15...do you always feel when you ovulate or not? Today is day 15 and I haven't had the stretchy cm yet so I don't know if my cycle could just be off or what. Thanks!

Re: Do you feel it when you ovulate?

  • I rarely feel ovulation.

  • ..when you're body is used to being medicated it does some adjustment when you're not...I always feel when I ovulate..

    Good luck!

  • Some months I can more than others.  Sometimes I have sharp pains and others it's just some minor twinges.

  • I almost always felt it when I ovulated, and it was really bad when i was on Clomid. My first cycle after 4 rounds of clomid was a little different. I don't remember feeling it at all. Also, my cycle was a little off that first month. It dropped from 29 days to 26.

  • I ovulated in November on Clomid and boy did I ever feel it. I had crazy cramping near my right ovary for about 8 hrs.  It was horrible.  I do remember when I was in middle and high school feeling like a pop in my ovary areas every once in awhile.  I guess it was ovulation, but I really didn't pay attention to how long after that sensation my period would start.

  • I never did before.... On climid, OMG. I really noticed it, super painfull.

I managed to spontaneously ovulate on my own last cycle and I think I felt it... when I thought back, I noticed some random twinges I didn't usually get around O time. It really surprised me.

  • These twinges that you all are talking about---where exactly do you feel that at? I am not really having the cramping on the ovary like I did on clomid---but I am feeling little twinges or cramps and it feels like it's right in my girlie area-haha.
  • i have never felt O before - but then again maybe that is b/c the dr thinks i rarely if ever O on my own Stick out tongue  but she also said that i probably won't ever feel myself O if it is from my left ovary b/c we have discovered by u/s that my left ovary is actually under my uterus, not next to it, so it is so deep i probably won't feel it when i O.

I feel mine right where my ovaries are.  Some months it's on the right and some it's on the left side.
