I'm beginning to really worry about how large I will be!

looking in the mirror tonight- in my sweats with a tight t-shirt on- i can't believe how big my bump is already.... I'm bigger than my friend who is 10w further along than me (granted, this is her first pg and my 2nd)... but OMG- I'm going to have a crazy huge belly, aren't I? :)

part of me is excited for it- b/c I LOVE baby bumps- but part of me is scared to death of how it is going to feel and what it will look like afterwards!!

i already can't see my feet (unless i lean over).... i guess eventually i won't see them at all, huh?? :)

  • And you're 17 weeks? Oh that is nothing! You just wait girlie ;)
  • All I have to say is that at the end, my husband had to shave my legs for me.

The night before my c-section my waist measured 48 inches.

  • Don't worry before you get too huge the heartburn and other aches and pains will distract you from how large you are getting ---- aren't I a ray of sunshine.

This is me the morning before my csection at 38 weeks.

LOL -  i just showed DH all of your photos... and he just said "OMG, what is she smiling about!" lol :)

I was very big with my  DS and he was born 4w early... he was 7lb 4oz. I'm praying these babies are also big - but OMG- i'm going to be HUGE!

yeah- i know - all the other joys of pg will make me forget about how big and painful the belly are - esp if i end up with kidney stones again :)  ugh!!!

  • Ha! ?You're only 17 weeks! ?You ?just wait Gail!!!!!

    I KNOW! that's why I'm worrying!! :) lol

thank GOD my OB is taking me out of work between 24-28w... I'm on my feet most of the day (i'm in sales) and i expect to be ginormous by then b/c i already am pretty damn big!

  • OH my goodness...I am having the same concern at 18 weeks today, but it is also so wonderful and what a blessing!  Your belly pics are all great!  I am shy about my belly, but now I think I must take a pic of me.....lol

  • I love how you girls are rocking your bellies. I feel like my bump has doubled in size in the last two weeks. I am not too uncomfortable yet and am still shaving (thank god for the seat in the shower!) but not sure how long I can be bothered with it. I want them to be huge, but can only imagine what it feels/looks like at the end!
  • ooh, ooh as long as we're comparing bumps...this was my bump the morning of my emergency C section--I sort of just had a feeling that I might be having the babies that day for some reason so I snapped a quick pick before leaving, just in case.  Sure enough, this ended up being my last picture and about an hour later, I had my babies!!  I honestly didn't think I could get any bigger at that point!!!

  • I feel the same at 24 weeks.  I feel almost as big as I did when I delivered my son at almost 40 weeks (and he was almost 11 pounds).  I am out of breath just going up one flight of stairs.  Add that to the pubic separation and I am just a peach to be around for sure.
  • I'm scared, too.  I'm enormous already and worried about how big I'm going to get.  DH has already volunteered to do all the housework and cooking in March.  He's also volunteered to help me with my grooming when that becomes too difficult.  *Ahem*  I guess I'm lucky the baby belly seems to be a huge turn-on for him Embarrassed
  • LOL...the belly does get out of control!
  • I feel lucky these twins are my first, so I have nothing to compare my belly to.  I just had my first stranger yesterday remark that I look "ready to pop".  Whatever, it's winter and I'm not allowed to have sex anyway so I don't care that I can't shave my legs anymore!  Let's just all grow big huge babies and pretend that we'll be able to afford tummy tucks when it's all over.
  • this is me the night before me c section...I was 37w2d

    yikes
