Hello ladies. I should have introduced myself instead of just posting a question. I'm thinking it's time to start posting on this board and pick some brains.
I'm only 16w but am looking forward to a "crunchy" mommyhood. We are already planning on birthing medfree with a midwife, breastfeeding, babywearing, making our own baby food, co-sleeping (at least initially), and are big supporters of natural/wood toys. I am still trying to convince DH that CD is the way to go.
Anyway, hello!
Re: I should have introduced myself
Hi...I'm not a regular poster on here yet. I'm "going crunchy" though.
Anyway, I remember seeing you on BOTB and other boards like that back when I was TTC. It's so great to see that you're expecting!! Congrats!
I lurked on BOTB pre-pregnancy and I recognize you. I don't post here a ton, but these ladies are really sweet and helpful. Let them talk to you about CDing, they'll help you convince your DH! We didn't start CDing until she was a few months old and just started fulltime CDing this week. So even if it takes time to convince him... better late than never!
well, they have snappi's now, so you don't have to use pins.
i'm not sure what else is different... there are covers made with velcro and most people use a dry pail to keep their soiled dipes in.
let us know if you have any more questions.
i remember you from BOTB, too and i'm so glad to see you're expecting!
Congrats on your pregnancy and expected crunchy
momhood!

Ditto - congrats!
HI!!!!!
I'm so excited for you
The tttc journey sucks, and every time I see your ticker, it makes me happy for you! Your going to be a great mother
I was on the botb board quite a bit a while ago and am super excited to see your pg, Congrats big time!!
My ds is 9 and things have changed since even then so 19yrs ago things were certainly different. PF are cheap so even if you don't like it then you can just sell them or use as burp rags. Just dont let him think the gerber ones are the end of the line.. I would get a few of the green mountain ones so he can see how nice they are.
ditto the ditto! actually i remember you from BOTB but confused that recognition with this board and was like - why does she need to introduce herself??? lol. but welcome and congrats to you!!!

Thanks for all the kind hellos and congrats ladies
I've been eyeing the GM PF for a couple weeks and was planning on avoiding the Gerbers all together.
Hi Chrys!!!! I'm so happy you're over here! I need to get back to BOTB more...
