Babies: 9 - 12 Months

spit up question

DD used to spit up a bit, but it was never too bad, and stopped probably 2-3 months ago. In the last couple weeks she's started spitting again and now it smells more like throw up. Is that because of the solid food and dairy she's eating? I'm not super worried because it's pretty small amounts and it's not projectile or anything like that, but it smell so bad. Is this normal or should I be concerned?
TIA!

  • What dairy are you feeding her?

  • Hi Ivory! How are you and Emma doing??

No advice on the spit up. Asher is a major puker so stinky throw up is pretty common for us.

  • DS started spitting up again too this week.  We took him off the Prevacid a few weeks ago (confirmed with pedi) but he started crying this AM and he had this sour look on his face.  I'm assuming he spit up a little and it burned.  I guess I'll just keep an eye on him, if he keeps doing it I'm going to call the pedi and ask about restarting the Prevacid.

  • She gets all dairy except milk... we're trying REALLY hard to get her to gain weight and so she gets a lot of dairy :)
