I take 2 a day. Before BFP I wasn't allowed to have any dairy and now I just have it very, very rarely (and still never milk) since I am already pregnant and dont' have to worry about TTC.
There is some calcium in my PNV but there is also an extra bottle of calcium pills with the pack I bought. I don't take them- I drink a lot of milk and eat yogurt and cheese pretty regularly so I get a lot of calcium in my diet.
I'm a big milk drinker (think - 1 liter + a day) and I eat a lot of dairy, so I'm not too worried about calcium for myself. But, I agree with the little calcium chews - yummy! Might as well enjoy it:)
I'm taking an extra supplement of calcium with my PNV. The PNV has less in it than I was taking prior to getting PG. With my family history, I'm going to keep up the extra supplements.
My doctor wants me to take it in some form 3x a day. So I mix it up between drinking an 8 ounce glass (minimum amount each time) and taking one of those Viactiv chewables. Couldn't handle those gigantic calcium pills. Ugh. I'm trying to drink more milk than the chewables as I'm trying to watch the intake of sugar.
