Do you put your carseat in the child seat part of the shopping cart? I have gone to do this several time and they just don't seem very stable up there. I see people do it all of the time though so it must be okay right?
I havent tried since we have not yet braved taking the girls out shopping. However, I have read before that even though many people put carseats in the child seat part of the cart it is not safe. I read that it can cause the shopping cart to tip over and they suggest placing carseats in the larger basket part of the cart. Of course this leaves you with a lot less space for groceries or other items. Sorry, I dont remember where I read this to post the link.?
I see people do it all the time, but like you, it never seemed that stable to me, so I never did it. When they were still really little I just pushed the stroller until they were big enough to sit in the seats.
I did it twice, and also held onto it tight as I pushed the cart. They tip them at a weird angle like their heads are tilted down. It looks like all the blood is going to rush to their head. A very strange angle.
You will love Costco and Samsclub because they can be in their car seats side by side in the cart and fit perfectly

Ooooo...I did not know that about Costco! That makes things much easier! I need to go to Costco and I've been trying to figure out the logistics.
