I was in a car accident yesterday, and I did not have the car seat in the car, as I leave it at daycare, but I did have the base. Do I need to get a new base?
I think it really depends on the severity of the accident, but I tend to err on the side of caution with carseats anyway. We were in a minor accident months ago and I replaced both seats. Bases are pretty inexpensive anyway; I'd definitely replace it.
