Girl named Xoe on Yo Gabba Gabba today

If you like the name Zoe, you should spell it like so instead of Xoe. Her twin had an X name too and I can't even think of hot to speel it or pronounce it

Did anyone watch Yo Gabba Gabba today?

    Well, it was Xanthe, of course.  Pronounced Zan-thee.  I saw it previously and was wondering what the story was behind those names. 

    And yes, please spell it Zoe, not Xoe or Zoie or Zooey...

    Evan's favorite episode! We have it DVR'd so I've seen it a lot :-) and yes, Xoe is bad.

    See I love Xanthe but I don't like Zoe at all. And Xoe is just ridiculous.

    Xanthe is Greek, like Penelope. I actually know someone whose daughters are Xanthe and Penelope (but her name is Aphrodite and yes she is Greek!). It goes with a Greek surname really well. There's also an actress named Zoe Carrides (Greek too) and I can see how her name fits, but I still don't like Zoe.?

    ?I had 2 Zoes in my class at school. Apparently the muppets were deliberately given frumpy old names that no one would use "Elmo", "Grover" "Bert" "Ernie" "Kermit".... and "Zoe".

    Clearly they got it wrong with Zoe because the name really took off in the 70s.?
