DOOL: Please explain this to me

What is the whole storyline between Marlana and John and the whole "John lost his memory (again!!!) and being hypnotized to find is memory..and who's the other woman Dr thats trying to "help" them???  I started watching this again about a month ago and cant figure this out...thanks!

    I quit watching months ago, I only catch an occasional episode now, so I can't help you with the other woman doc, but Stephano erased his memory from his brain and put it on a disc...and I'm pretty sure that disc got thrown away somehow.

    Stefano erased John's memory when everyone thought that John had died.  That other doctor is a psychiatrist, her father (who has passed) was a friend of Marlena's.
