So my ER was yesterday and let me say hurt like no other! I received dilaudid for the pain 1/2 hour before the procedure and it took all I had to hold back the tears. Well the count is in and of 9 follicles I only got 3 eggs. I know I should be happy that those 3 were retrieved I am just having such a hard with all of this. I am trying to stay so positive but I just have this bad feeling. I should receive a call today by 1 about my fert report so hears to crossing fingers.

Don't be scared! I've had 3 ERs and only the last one caused me any significant pain and I think that had to do with the fact that I had a lot of eggs. You'll be okay!
I'm sorry it was so painful for you. I hope you soon have 3 strong, growing embies. Good luck!
I was going to ask the same thing since you mentioned dilaudid. ?The pain will get better, I promise. ?I never hurt for too long. ?As for the 3 eggs, I'm praying that they all are rockstars. ?Hang in there, hon. ?
Thanks girls for all your kind words and wishes it means alot.
And I do go to ORM in columbus.
I'm sorry that you had a hard time yesterday - and wish you luck with the report today! Don't get too discouraged - it only takes one, and hopefully the three will all be growing strong!

I am so sorry about your experience. It sounds awful. I just wanted to let you know that foxybride was in your same boat a couple months ago. She only had 3 embies also. Now, she is pregnant. I know it seems daunting, but I cross my fingers that you have the same outcome!
