Night time routine

When did you/are you starting your night time routine and what are you doing?

We have been doing baths in the mornings when we do them since DH works evenings are not home to help with them. (My girls dont like the bath yet and having to bathe two screaming babies is not easy) Right now we dont have any sort of routine set up. I think it will be hard for us. We/I will feed the girls a bottle and usually one will fall asleep shortly after, but the other will stay awake for a. nother hour. If we put an awake baby in the crib they cry not wanting to be in there yet.?

Cameron settled into a routine when he was about 6 months old or so. We have dinner, he gets cleaned up (we do daytime baths mostly) and we change into pajamas and before he stopped the bottle, he had a bottle while we rocked. Now, he goes right into his bed with his sound machine.

Well, Landon kind of settled into his own routine very early on.  I do not do a bath every night due to his extremely sensitive skin (sorry, baby, the skin issues are my fault) but when we do I always do them at night and then do the Johnson & Johnson massage with lotion to calm him down.  Then DH or I read him a book, give him his last bottle and he goes down for the night and luckily never wakes up until the morning (thanks a million Baby Crack Machine)!

He's making it pretty easy on us.  I wouldn't have the first clue about a routine for two at a time!  But I do think you've got the right idea on your DH helping you out with the more complicated to-dos.  Although, they are probably all complicated!  I wish I could be more help for you!
