where did she get that from? Dh thinks we should never use the word "princess" when 2.0 arrives. Our nieces ARE princesses and will tell you so.. and act like it...

At least she has a sence of humor...
She has a Disney book about Princesses; it stresses how princesses are polite and have nice manners, etc. That's the only thing I can think of where she might have picked it up.
to butt in on bpaullo, I totally didn't want to do the whole princess thing, but my gosh Elena had another whole idea of the way things would be. It started with Ariel, but then she picked up on all the other princesses next to Ariel at the stores. She now BEGS for princess stuff. And I've made her princess dresses to cavort in (I know, I know, but it is so cute!), and my brother/soon-SIL bought her a throne for Christmas. A THRONE! I'm so done for!

Awww, that's too cute (and smart of her, too!)
I'm with y'all....I'm so not digging that princess/diva mentality.
