I was wondering.. when do you think it's safe to put a blanket in a toddler's crib? I don't mean a receiving blanket, but a light quilt for her to use for warmth?
We just started using a blanket for my son. He is 22 months. He's ALL over the place when he sleeps though, so we never thought about using one before.
My ped has always told us 1 year before you put a blanket in the crib. With DD#1, we gave her an afghan at around 10 months. DD #2 is now 10 months and has been sleeping with a small lovie blankie (the Little Giraffee ones) for about 2 months but no big afghan or anything yet as she just moves around so much. My older DD moved to a big girl bed at 18 months and has been using a pillow, sheets and a quilt since then.
