So yummy! This recipe makes 15 servings. I use spicy sausage for a little more flavor. Sometimes, they take a little longer than the suggested cooking time. If you have a countertop mixer, using the kneading hook makes mixing the stuff up a lot easier.
1 pound ground pork sausage
2 cups biscuit baking mix
1 pound sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large bowl, combine sausage, biscuit baking mix and cheese. Form
into walnut size balls and place on baking sheets.
Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes, until golden brown.
Excellent. Thanks for the info! I will probably make them small, so they will cook a bit faster.
We are making all mini-sized foods - silver dollar pancakes, waffles cut in quarters, sausage balls, mini bagels, mini muffins, and hoping someone asks "What's up with all the baby-sized food?"
PS Yes, we are huge dorks, but I have been having fun finding ways to tell people I am pg.
