So I'm bragging for DS!

DH and I were standing in the garage and I was putting stuff in the car getting ready to take DS to school. DH asks if I want DS's H-A-T. Immediately after DH spells that DS says hat. We hadn't even been talking about his hat so how in the world did he get that?!?! He was crawling around in his Jeep so I didn't even think he was paying attention to us! We just looked at each other and DH asked if he just said hat. I'm not sure how he picked that up. We spell things around him but I can't remember ever spelling out hat! So, yes, I am bragging about my smart little boy this morning even though I'm sure there's a simple explanation for it!
