The veins on my hands and wrists are especially puffy tonight and I'm especially irritated with dH.  Could this be a sign of high blood pressure?  Or just a coincidence? I have no other symptoms that I know of.

Agitation, an elevated heart rate and an elevated blood pressure can cause the veins in your hands & arms get all puffy.  Like after you workout, for instance.  Are you wringing your hands, pacing around, etc? I have borderline blood pressure and my veins aren't puffy all the time.

It could also be water retention.  Are you drinking enough or have you had highly salty foods today?
