with Luca I had to buy bigger shoes.... and silver band because I couldn't get my rings on.. It was awful... Put your feet up and drink lots of water..
I went through that a little last week. It sucks. My doc recommended a few things...propping them up on a box under my desk. Drinking lots of water and using lemon/lime in the water. Laying on my left side with my feet elevated above my heart. Not crossing my legs or ankles. Things like this have seemed to help a lot. Cutting out a bunch of salt has too. Good luck! Hope you're feeling well!!
I dread the show thing. I heard they don't "go" back.
I already can't wear my Aggie ring anymore
Just for a different experience: I had a lot of swelling in both my hands and feet, but I was able to wear my wedding ring again about a month or so after DD was born and my feet never changed sizes. I, too, lived in flip-flops!
I had bad swelling the first time around, major cankles. It got worse right after I had him from all the IV fluid they gave me. This time was way different. I didn't really swell at all in the ankles and only minor in the hands. I couldn't wear my engagement ring but I could wear the bands. I was on my feet most of the time too. I just drank tons of water and tried to limit my salt intake.

my feet were so swollen that all i could wear was Crocs (it was winter) and i HATE Crocs. in fact, a 400 lb man once told me taht it looked like i had loaves of bread coming out the top of my shoes... sad. i also went from an 8 to a 9 pregnant and a 8.5 permanently. i still have to clear out all my old shoes and i am just having a hard time parting with them...

I feel your pain - I lived in flip flops all last winter.
