I want to do something a little more unique and personal for Mia's room as we remove her "nursery" decorations. I was thinking of a variation of those wall letters. Which do you like or do you have any better ideas?

1. 3 small canvases each with a large M, I, or A in the middle. Then decorate the outside with stripes, flowers and/or polka dots in colors that will match her room.

2. 3 small picture frames each with a different fabric inside and a large M, I or A in the middle.

depends what approach you're taking. The canvases would give a more eclectic feel, the other would make it "cleaner" or streamlined--I'm having a brain fart here. I don't know, I like both.

I really like your second idea.  This is what I have in R's room.  I got a 16x20 frame at Hobby Lobby, had the pink mat cut to fit a 5x7 photo, and then the letters are metal scrapbooking embellishments.  It was really inexpensive.

LOL Happ! Love those cheeks!

Maybe the "cleaner" approach would be better then since her room is usually a cluttered mess of clothes, blankets, toys and books!
