I never took a single thing when PG with Audrey. I had not a single cold or headache the entire PG'y.
I've had some sort of a cold since Thanksgiving that just starts to go away, then comes back with a vengance. it SUCKS!
I have a flight tomorrow and I hate flying with congestion and sinus problems as my ears do not pop and the pressure is unbearable. Last month I took sudafed before take off and it worked great to aleviate the problem. I'd like to take it again tomorrow, but just can't remember if it's OK in the 1st tri and my 1st Dr's appt isn't until next week.
TIA!

Hmm it appears to be a Class C drug which really isn't helpful information. I remember it being ok to take Benedryl, maybe that will help you? Sorry I guess I'm not much help!
Darn I don't remember I used to have a list I got from the OB office that said what was ok. I know Tyonal is ok but that really is not going to help you with nasal stuff.
I are you feeling ok other than that? Any morning sickness?

I think Sudafed was on my do-not use list, but I could be wrong, it's been a long time. I know I had the ok to continue taking Claritin, when my allergies were bad. I would just call and ask a nurse, they will know and completely understand since your appt isn't until next week.
Did you decide if your going to share your news next week with work?
Sudafed used to be OK but now is not. Which really messed me up b/c I called my doctor and the nurse said it was OK. then when I went in I mentioned the Sudafed and he was like "no, you can't take that" and I dont' think he ever actually understood that it was HIS idiot nurse who said it was OK.
That said, I did actually take it and Ben ended up Ok. But apparently it is linked to something messing with formation of the abdominal wall, so I'd think 1st tri would be the worst time to take it.
I have not decided yet if I'll share my news. We'll see how I handle the meetings all day.
The funny thing is, right after I posted this question, my Dr's office called and said they had a cancelation today and asked if I wasnted to come in TODAY for my 1st appt. (It's was just for the bloodwork and paperwork) I said SURE, so I got to go today for my 1st appt. Now the first exam/u/s appt isn't until Feb 4th. So I still gotta wait for that.
And I asked about Sudafed. It is OK..... AFTER the 1st tri, so no luck for me.
