Double stroller? Advice please?

Do you use them? Which one do you like? Side by side? Standing stroller? I'll have an infant and a 2 1/2 y.o. Usually she walks, but if we go to Disneyland (often) or the mall, I could see us using it. Advice?

Re: Double stroller? Advice please?

  • we have a s.b.s. and I love it. ?I don't know how you do Disney, but if it's like us, we are there all day and usually the kids pass out at some point in the stroller, so the sit and stand wouldn't work for us. ?We have a Combi and it's really easy to fold and travel with and very lightweight.
  • Ours girls are 18 months apart - and both are tiny.  We got the Jeep side by side, less than $100, and it works great.  They now chat with each other and both get great views when we are out.  I couldn't see putting one child in the back, I hate having to see over someone's head in front of me, so this worked best for us.

  • I have the Joovy Caboose Ultralight and so far, I really like it.  My first DD is 2, and my baby is now 6 weeks old.  I can have DD2 in the infant car seat while DD1 sits on the back.  And, the stroller itself is REALLY lightweight.  The only thing I don't like so far is the under basket. It's a little hard to get to.
  • I had a peg pergo aria side by side for my twins.  Pluses:  it is lightweight and folds easily/compactly.  Negatives:  no cup holders for kids or adults (I added a carrier thing for me) and if you put too much in the basket it would drag.

  • We have a sbs Bob Revolution double and LOVE it.  It is easy to push, roomy, etc.  I wouldn't ever have another double stroller.
