So after mixing the solution last night I had a REALLY hard time getting every last drop back into the syringe... like, frantically called the on-call nurse from the pharmacy hard time. Per my instructions, the bottle is supposed to empty, and unfortunately, I still had a little left in there. The harder I tried the worse it got ... at one point some of the liquid even dripped out when i was trying to poke the needle in as little as possible to suck out the rest of it...
Bottom line: I took my trigger 10 minutes too late, and there was still a little left in the bottle.
The on-call nurse from the pharmacy said it is impossible to get every last drop....Should I call my RE?
PS - For those who saw yesterday's post about DH being worried about the IM injection, he did fine. It was actually the highlight of my Novarel Trigger shot experience.

I took it last IVF and the pharmacist is right, it is impossible to get every last drop out. I would just tell the RE about the 10 minute difference so he is aware, but I am sure it will not effect anything. My ER last time was running late because the person who went before me took longer then expected, so the time does not have to be to the minute.
Good Luck!!
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.
