when I say your subject line I was like that is not what she is talking about. That is crazy, it comes so quick... best wishes for a speedy and easy delivery! Can't wait to "meet" your little one!
I feel the exact same way. One moment I long to hold him in my arms and the next I think "no, wait, stay in there a few more days so I can finish some things up at home & work"
How are you feeling? The VERY uncomfortable stage is kicking in for me. I'm like a turtle on its back whenever I try to roll over in bed or do just about anything.
Are you working until you deliver? Are you 'nesting'? I'm not sure if it's b/c it's a new year or pg related but I want to organize everything!
Hope things are going well!! Good luck in your final DAYS before your little one is here!
Im still feeling pretty good but I have been having Braxton Hicks contractions in the AM-3, 4, 5 o'clock. This morning they started around 3:30 and they went away but I couldnt fall back asleep. I feel like I look tired too. My mother in law mentioned it to me yesterday and I am tired but I dont think it is as bad as I must look. I always hate when people say that to me because it makes me think that they think I look like crap. Haha-oh well.
I know how you feel Christina about wanting to hold him but also hoping he stays put for a few more days. I am hoping to work until next Monday (it would be my last day). Im a teacher and this is the last week of the semester and Monday is an inservice before the 2nd semester starts. So Im really hoping that I make it through at least this week. I am cutting it close with my time off days too and if I finish this week I do not need to come back at all until next school year (late August). But we'll see what happens.
Yesterday DH and I cleaned the house big time. I def. didnt feel like doing it but am glad now that it is done. He was "nesting." He cleaned out our closet and did some deep cleaning that we hardly ever do.
Good luck to you too Christina. We will soon have pics up of our little men!!
I've been having BH too. Last week they were pretty strong and we wondered if that was the start of things but they went away. I hope you're able to get a full nights sleep before he arrives. I've been up for hours each night for the past 3 days. That supposed 'glow' is gone and I look tired too.
Wow, it sounds like you are going to have an amazing maternity leave!! A friend if mine is also a teacher and she delivered her baby over the weekend. She'll probably have to go back for a few weeks this school year.
Hang in there! I'm anxious to see your announcement and pics of him!!
