XP: Congestion?

DS has sounded congested since birth.  He also snores on occasion and I think it's all related.  I've mentioned it to the pediatrician each time and they don't seem too concerned.  They just tell me to keep using a humidifier and doing the saline drops in his nose.  They listen to his chest, etc. at our routine appts. also and don't say anything so I assume it sounds okay to them.  I'm just wondering if this is kind of normal and if anyone else's DC has experienced this?  I'm sure our dry climate doesn't help as well as the furnace running, but I have been using a humidifer in our room (where he sleeps also).  I just feel so bad for him when I hear him sounding like that.

    Every baby I know has congestoins after birth.  It can also be a sign of reflux.  Good luck

    Paige has sounded congested since birth, I too have asked the pedi several times and he says there is nothing to be concerned about. He listens to her chest and everything sounds fine. I too use a humidifier. Pedi said it may start to lessen as her passageways grow, and expand, etc.
