My kids were born on the same day. Everyone keeps saying, "what are the odds." Not that they really want an answer to that but is it 1 in 365 (the chance that DD would be born on December 12 since DS was already born on that day) or 1 in 730 (the chance they would both be born on December 12)? DH and I disagree on this. Man, and I took statistics in undergrad and in a Masters program...I hated it, lol.

This is the closest I could find.
Well if it's 1 in 365 for each kid you multiple (1/365)*(1/365) and that becomes a very small number.
But I remember reading an article why it's actually really common to have a kid in your class with the same birthday....
This is what I was about to post. I think you should try for another child and see if you can hit the jackpot with another child with that birthday.
Lol, I think I would be committed after losing my mind if I had another one on the same day - I was so upset, mostly for DS, that I went into labor on his birthday...not depressed but you get what I mean. I will have to find a way to convince them how special it is and really hope they are very close to each other. I will now read the link.
