I thought it was whole milk for the first year and then after that, whatever you normally buy for your family. Tillman is skinny and the only one who drinks milk, so we still buy whole for him.
Edit: Of course I mean 1-2, not the first year of the baby's life. Tillman's ped said we could do whatever milk at his 2 year appointment.

TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
Thanks. I know it's whole milk for the first year (age 1-2) but now that he is 2 I would rather just do the organic fat free we drink, I guess I will call the doc on Monday and ask.

At our 2 year appt, the ped said he can drink any kind of milk now... before he was on whole. So now we'll do 2% with him. Even though she said we can do skim, I just feel like he needs the fat for a little longer. All of my other friends went to 2% at 2 years old.

We have been on 2% for a couple of months now. Our pedi said we could switch to 1% or skim, and DD can now eat a low cholesteral / low fat diet.
I will be switching her to 1% (since that is what we drink) and I am starting to switch out real egg, for egg beaters (since that is what we eat).
