PAGAS told me you had adorable sock monkey centerpieces today at Joe's party (happy birthday to the little - well, not so little anymore - guy!!!). ?I am also doing a sock monkey theme for Char's first birthday in February, and would love to buy centerpieces. ?Where did you get them??? ?Thanks! ?
How was his party? ?What time did y'all do it? ?I'm still trying to decide....?
Re: ***MGR***
My stepmom actually MADE the sock monkeys from scratch!! They were adorable. I will try and post pics soon! I think you can buy them online though if you google them.
His party was a blast. The jumpy castle was a huge hit with the kids and the adults ;-) We had the party at 1pm and everyone stayed until about 4. 1pm worked pretty well as far as nap schedules are concerned....and it was close enough to lunch time that everyone ate alot of food etc.
Here is a sock monkey "kit" that gives you all the stuff to make them: https://www.sockmonkey.net/Do_It_Yourself_Sock_Monkey_Kit.html
We rented three 60 inch round tables, had table cloths and then each sock monkey sat on a little chair in the center of the table. My stepmom also custom made little party hats for each monkey and they were holding like 10 balloons in their hands (real balloons). It was reeeally cute!! The wind was pretty rough today though, so the balloons kept making the monkeys tip over.

The sock monkey theme sounds so cute! MGR, I'm glad to hear that Joe's party was a success!
CCC, we had our party from 2-4 and that worked well also. We weren't serving lunch, though, just hot appetizers and cupcakes.
