Short Term Disability

I'm considering short term disability thru Aflac to help cover a portion of my income while on maternity leave.  My company allows 12 weeks...all unpaid.  Have any of you considered this and/or have it thru Aflac?

I'm very luck to live in the UK with AMAZING maternity pay/leave.

And make sure you aren't pregnant before you sign up for it because then it voids it as a pre-existing condition.
