I am interested in getting this bed and wanted to see if anyone had used it or knew anyone else who had. I want to see if you think it is worth the money.
I got it for my son and it was a godsend! But he had reflux and could not sleep flat on his back. Once we got it he slept like a champ in it until we moved him (very easily) at 10 months old.
We used it for the first 6 months and Abby really enjoyed it - I think . I liked that we could easily have it at our bedside. In the middle of the night when she would fuss, quite often just a quick gentle swing would lull her back to sleep easily. Worked well with swaddling. She was the spit up queen when awake but really only spit up a handful of times in the Amby. Loved it, can't wait to use it again! The inside pad cover and holder did shrink the first time we washed it because it's 100% cotton. But it was no big deal - I just cut the foam padding to accomidate the shrinkage and it was good to go.
I don't think it was any kind of "miracle" but I feel it did help. Pretty early on, DD would sleep from 6-12 and then up every 2-3 hours to eat. It's not STTN but it's pretty good for a newborn!
Re: Has anyone heard of the Amby Baby Motion Bed??
A friend of mine has a similar one (two actually) for her twins, that you can either hang from the ceiling or purchase a stand for. ??

She chose it over the amby bed because it lasts longer. ?Apparently, even her 3-year old will occasionally sit or nap in it.?

Can't wait to set it up for the next one.
