Confession: I've never colored my hair

Like ever. Not even highlights. And the salon ladies are ALWAYS wanting to give me some blonde highlights.

I don't know. I hated my hair so much growing up, but came to peace with it in college and love it now so I don't have much reason to. And I don't like the idea/cost of "upkeep."

P.S. This could all change if I start seeing gray hairs.?

I've never colored mine either, but you can bet as soon as I start seeing gray hairs, I'm going to start!

I wouldn't if I had your beautiful color of hair either.  I have been coloring or highlighting my hair since grade school.

Ooh oh! ?Me too! ?And whenever I go to someone new, they ask "who does your color?" and I always kind of took it as a compliment like, "wow her hair is so great! ?I can't believe she doesn't have it colored!" ?but the older I get, the more I think they are saying, "Good lord, who does your color because it is horrible and you shouldn't be paying them."

I've done it myself with temporary dye that washes out a few times in my life, but I've never actually had it done for real at a salon. I also don't want to deal with the time/expense of the upkeep. Haircuts alone are expensive enough- I would hate to start an expensive habit that needed to be maintained regularly.?

Besides, redheads are cute.

I have for a long, long time. The last time I saw my natural color it was this dull mousey brown color. Yuk.

Ditto the pps that said if I had your hair color, I would not touch it. ?

I just started doing a one color tint last year around the time DD turned 1.  I was feeling really blah and I was a hair color virgin too...

Anyway, I love how it looks now, I go slightly darker, and I'm sad that I'll be giving it up in the SAHM role I'm entering.  It's fun and can add dimension without drastically changing your look.  I'll all for a little change.

I never have, either!  I'm like you--stylists always want to color/highlight it, but I know I'd be too lazy to keep it up.  You're adorable already, though, so you don't need to change anything!

I would probably NEVER color my hair if I didn't have greys...and I started getting greys really prematurely like when I was 17.

I never have either! The color is one of the few things that I actually like about my hair so no way am I going to mess with it! ?Plus I always get people asking me what number my hair color is! ?lol ?I love it!

I colored my hair once.  It is a beautiful blond that i love so I don't want to change it, but in college i decided to dye it so it had a hint of red.  No one noticed except the frat boys next door.  I decided it wasn't worth it.

I had highlights done twice and hated it.  I have too many people tell me they would lvoe my hair color to even think about coloring it.  (i'm a redhead)
