I was just wondering how Coach was doing. (that's your dogs name right?) Our 12 YO lab was just diagnosed with bone cancer today. We kinda expected it. Either bone cancer or arthritis. My DH called while I was out to lunch, so I was able to hold it together and just listen. But inside I'm sad. We knew he was getting older - I swear he's aged years in the last few months, but it's still hard knowing the end is near. They say up to 6 months. He has a tumor just above his left back knee. I wanna go home and spoil him with all the treats we usually don't let him have. Maybe I'll stop and get a big rawhide for him.

What pain management are you using? We have a prescription pain med that we've been using, but it's really expensive. We're gonna try an over the counter one and see how that works.

anyway, hope he's doing ok.
