*** Cortney81 ***

Thanks for your reply to my post - one follow-up question for you.....when you say to mix pumped milk and formula......would you make the formula with water (following the instructions on the can) and then add an equal about of pumped milk to the bottle.  For example - 2 oz of prepared formula with 2 oz of pumped milk?

Re: *** Cortney81 ***

  • You got it.  we would mix the formula first, then add my milk and shake the bottle.  that way we made sure that the formula didn't contain any lumps or anything.  now one thing we found was in the beginning, natalie still needed her formula warmed because she was so use to having warm breastmilk all the time(i had a stash in the freezer that to thaw my sitter would place in warm water which caused her to warm bottles all the time).  Over time we weaned her to a room temp. bottle however for the first two months or so, we had to have the whole bottle warm...lol.  It was a pain but thats how she liked it!  If you need any other help, let me know!!
