ok just got it! I was just wondering cuz I was looking at your blog and Oliver is almost 6 months too, 7/13! How are solids going for you? We are starting peas tonight and I'm way too excited about it

too funny! I didnt evenr realize our babies we so close in age!...
Well as you probably saw on the blog, she didnt like oatmeal nearly as much as we thought she was going to
my friend told me her kids hated rice/oatmeal and she just skipped to the veggies..we may do that and hope for a better reaction!

How about Oliver, hows he doing with the solids??

He's a really good eater, as most people can tell from his size He doesnt like the rice, but does like the oatmeal. We've only done sweet potatoes with oatmeal so far and he likes them more each time. We tried them with the rice at first but he made a face and wouldnt eat them. I'm looking forward to his pedi appt next week b/c I'm not sure when solids become a source of nourishment and not just practice for eating, so I'm not really sure how much/ how often we should be doing it now that its not just cereal. Have you thought about making your own? I really want to do this but havent found the time yet.
