What type of jogger do you recommend?

I don't run/jog, but I'm not thrilled with the way my Peg strolls outdoors.  I was thinking of joining Stroller Fit (see post below,) so I thought a jogger might be more comfortable for both of us.  I know you all love "Bob," but I'm not sure I want to spend $500.  Is it really worth it to buy "Bob" if I don't even run/jog?  What are some other suggestions?  Thanks!

  • I have a Phil and Ted's Sport and love it - we go to Memorial three days a week and run and it does everything I want it to like a dream.

  • I have a Bob Revolution and I use it for my mall stroller and jogging.  I never bought a travel system.  We have a little umbrella stroller and I used a Maclaren stroller frame when she was always in her carseat, but now I prefer the Bob.  I love it!

  • I got the Phil and Ted's Sport too.  I haven't used it yet, but I put it together and I like the feel of it so far.  I'm not really a runner, but I want to go to the park and walk/jog with baby.  Can't wait to use it!!

  • i don't jog, either... just use mine for walks around the neighborhood, so i bought an instep off of craigslist.

  • another non-jogger, but i totally love my BOB Revolution. while i don't job, i walk a lot on pretty uneven sidewalks and rougher terrain and it handles sooo well. you can get them used for less and they also change colors seasonally, so you can get good deals on last year's model. i like the P&Ts as well, but my BFF has one. our kids are 3 mos apart and hers is trashed, mine still looks like new...

  • Although I'd like to be, I'm not a runner/jogger either and we also have a BOB Revolution.  I love it.  We have a MacLaren Volo for mall trips, etc. and I wanted something sturdier for walks around the neighborhood (we, too, have junky sidewalks) and trips to the zoo.  The BOB is awesome; it's incredibly smooth and easy to handle.  We bought ours from REI during a sale.  We bought it online and had it shipped to the store for free.
  • we also have the BOB Revolution and love it..  If you buy last seasons you can get them for under $300 at REI in the spring.  They also come up on Craig's List once in a while..
  • We have a BOB Revolution and love it! I use it for both jogging and as our every day stroller! It's definitely worth the investment!
