Baby scratching self?

DD has scratches on her neck, like she's been reaching behind herself and scratching her neck; and its enough to be really red and a couple scabs! I don't know what's up, she doesn't have a rash there right now, we're washing all of her clothes in hypoallergenic detergent, she wears cotton pj's and cotton shirts, and we haven't had any changes at the house (dog or cat). Has anyone dealt with this? Its a little unsettling since I just took off her shirt to give her a bath (she has a bath each night, but only gets her hair washed every other night) and there were a couple red lines with scabs on them!

DD did/does this because she has eczema...I would take her to the doctor because they warned us if it continues to long it can lead to mental/behavioral issues and that's what I see in DD (the pedi undertreated it for several months so that's why).  DD will scratch herself anytime she cries now or when she is mad even though she doesn't itch just because that's what would help relieve her pain when she was younger.  Now, I'm worried about what she's going to be like when she starts to scratch others and herself when she is older because she already makes herself bleed.

Can you SEE eczema? Because she's never had a rash before, she had a couple little pimples, but nothing really rash like.

She might just have dry skin or a tag was rubbing her skin the wrong way. DD does this is something is bothering her.

It's not really a rash, it's just super dry skin...dd's feels rough and is a little whiter...if she has a couple of pimple like things it could be something else...take her in to pedi
